August Ayurvedic Newsletter:
Hi Everyone,
We are pleased to announce the opening of our new Ayurvedic Healing Center, a non-profit organization designed to educate the community on the philosophy of Ayurveda and living for optimal health. The new center is located near Bahia Vista Drive in beautiful Sarasota. We found a quiet rustic house that is perfect for the work we do. The facility overlooks a tranquil pond that allows us to do the work we love, in a gentle and caring atmosphere. We will be renting a private space from the Center so we can now offer Pancha Karma treatments year-round. We have carefully selected other healing practitioners to be part of our community, and they will also be renting space from the Center in order to provide their services to the public. Very soon we will have formed a beautiful community right here in sunny Florida, spreading love and healing energy to people everywhere. We are reaching out to those who want to continue growing and expanding with us. You are invited to our Grand Opening Fundraising Event, “Just Dance!,” a dinner and dance being held Saturday, August 29, 2009. Come find out about all the wonderful plans we have in store for our new Center, a non-profit organization formed to spread the good word about Ayurveda and living well. We advocate a fuller life for everyone.

For those who want to get more involved, we are enlisting your support in helping us maintain the Center as we carry our vision into fruition. There are many startup initiatives we have been diligently working on and are looking for sponsors to keep the Center operational during the beginning months in order to fund our community events. As a non-profit, the Center will open its doors to underprivileged members of the community who are unable to afford quality care. Part of the profits from fund-raising events will be funneled back into providing treatments to those who qualify for special needs. The Center will be a place of rest and comfort, where anyone can seek advice and quality information on holistic living. In addition, the Center is raising a scholarship fund for qualified individuals who wish to study Ayurveda. Scholarship winners will have the choice of studying Ayurveda at the Florida College of Integrative Health in Sarasota, or through my apprenticeship program being offered to select applicants.
We are in the process of forming our Board of Directors for the Center. If health and giving back to your community interest you, we would love to hear from you.
