March Newsletter from Light and Bryan -

Announcements and schedule for march

Hello again!

This year is moving very quickly; it is already March. We would like to thank all the people who have been calling to confirm that the newsletter will continue to be posted on the website. Also a sincere thank you to the people who have called to check on us.We are doing well, just very busy doingPancha Karma, making a difference and creating support for those ready for healing.

Changes have emerged with the new political situation in our country; we give thanks for the new change. Many people are still experiencing financial challenges that present an opportunity to work on the inner process. Changes are opportunities for us to prioritize and look deeper into our life. The Maya (illusion) is a temporary state and when one is in this illusion, the situation appears very real. During these tough times, it is truly necessary to keep our spirits soaring and to look for answers within. We must stop pointing fingers and blaming others and realize that we are both the cause and the solution of all of our problems.

Through this time of financial hardship we want to reevaluate what is really important, check our values, and give gratitude for what we have. We should be happy and embrace all circumstances we face and lessons we learn. It is time to nourish our bodies with good things and practice yoga, prayer and meditation. We need to stay focused, eat quality food, and perhaps join a co-op so that we may be more financially comfortable in this time of national crisis. Discipline is a wonderful virtue, but keep your dreams alive. Focus on helping others; someone next to you might be in greater need than you are. Eat organic and buy from local farms, consume less packaged foods, and avoid plastic when possible. Everyone should use recyclable bags and stop using microwave ovens.

We are very fortunate to be a part of this time of change. We can now direct our focus to a new way of doing things. Many great companies began during the Great Depression. It is time to get creative once again.

When anyone studies the prophecies of ancient cultures, he or she will notice that they are being fulfilled. People have been talking about this “new age” since the 1960’s in hopes of awakening and realizing its possibilities. This promising, new age, and alternative lifestyle wants to take place. We must wake up, achieve our greatest potential, and break through the hypnosis of social conditioning.

People practicing Eastern traditions use astrological guidance as a point of reference and as a road map to understand themselves and the planet. According to the Eastern philosophy, the world progresses through different cycles similar to the four seasons. Each cycle creates a certain influence on the earth. This is what the Seers call “Yuga,” a gradual change that takes us from the age of darkness to the age of enlightenment.

These four cycles are detailed below:

The first cycle, Satya Yuga, lasts 4,800 years. Humankind follows God’s truth and tries to develop qualities by becoming pure and giving service to others. In this cycle of life we reach great divinity and truth.

Treta Yuga lasts 3,600 years and is the second cycle of life. In this age humans work with mortality. It is a time of triumph, persuasion and possessions. In the ancient scriptures, it is the epic of Rama and the demon of Lanka.

The third cycle is Dwarpa and lasts 2,400 years. In this cycle all people become zealous, valiant and competitive with each other. They seek pleasure and have very little divine existence. Illness and plague rule this age. Electricity and atomic energy was introduced during this time, which was during the Renaissance period. Through this time, the world is unfulfilled and there are misleads in science. Although some people are caught up on gurus, the teachings of self-study and the personal ability to attain bliss are always present within us.

The final cycle, Kali Yuga, lasts 12,000 years. The human stream of consciousness deteriorates people of the earth, deseed power away from the creator, recognizing only self. Spirituality is lost. Death, famine, money shortage, and the difficulty to survive are omnipresent. Men and woman carry lustful thoughts and young teens give birth to unwanted children with no respect for sexuality. Greed and passion are the sources of happiness. There is no respect for nature or human beings. Addiction and stress are amplified. Gurus abuse their students and governments don’t support the people.

The Hopi Indians of 1000 A.D spoke of the destruction of this nation, the different cycles of the earth, and the end of material matters. According to their calendar, this time is not that far off from 2012, the predicted end of the artificial world. After 2012, the earth will restore itself and the harmony of the natural cycles will bring and hold the potential to create balance, love and unity among all people.

Buddhism speaks of something similar to the Hopis. Matreya, an aspect of Buddha, will return to earth to solve the problems ending suffering.

Nostradamus made many predictions since 1560 A.D. about the times we are currently facing and he has been 100% accurate in many of he prophecies so far.

The Mayan calendar shares a commonality with many other cultures. The Mayans believed that the world will be destroyed three times and that the latest will be 2012. After the last destruction, there will be restoration.

Edgar Casey, the sleeping prophet and visionary of our times from the Association for Research and Enlightenment in Virginia Beach, spoke extensively about the changes that will take place on the earth and the recreation of a new consciousness of this world.

Even Christianity speaks about the end of the world, salvation, and the coming of the Messiah.

As I muse about all these cultures and their prophecies, I realize that the prophecies are not meant to induce fear. It’s about reconnecting and opening up to great new changes for ourselves and our environment. At the same time, I believe these times are very exciting because, in this modern world, you can experience these global cultures by just going on a vacation to a spa and having mystical experience with ancient people. Many of these experiences allow us to regain our trust in ourselves and awaken to healing possibilities.

Ayurvedic medicine can be a vehicle that reveals the way to take the necessary steps to create change in one’s life. Mind, body, spirit, harmony and bliss. Mahatma Gandhi said, “Be the change that you want to see in the world”. With this, I bless you. Peace be with you all.
